About the role

  • Lead the Learning Marketplace product team that is responsible for collecting catalog and calendar data from our Learning Partners, in order to enable catalog-building tool and member-facing catalogs
  • Act as the product person accountable for the end to end product development lifecycle. This starts with deeply understanding the problem space and current operations, to solution definition and demand capture and ends when we successfully solve that problem in the market.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to establish a vision for Learning Partner catalog data exchange, to ensure that all investments ladder up seamlessly into the broader picture, while also solving their specific, differentiated pain points.
  • Be a key advocate for Guild’s overall Learning Marketplace, internally and externally. This will involve everything from influencing how we work with and choose Learning Partners to populate the Learning Marketplace and operating the marketplace to further Guild’s strategic goals, to working directly with Learning Partners on a technical and executive level and deepening our competitive advantage via the Learning Marketplace.

Requirements

  • Obsession with building delightful, simple products for your users that solve complex problems
  • Experience starting with scrappy operational processes and maturing into scalable products
  • An unrelenting growth mindset, with a strong confidence in your ability to rapidly teach yourself and your team new things
  • Situational adaptability, including thriving in ambiguity and capable of juggling multiple competing priorities
  • Effective, concise storytelling and communication skills, with the ability and desire to own relationships from senior client stakeholders to internal support specialists.
  • A full suite of product skills from the development of user stories and translating business requirements up to delivering clear, coherent market plans and product strategy.
  • Passion about Guild’s mission, with an existing working knowledge of the education and future of work spaces.
