About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and evolve enterprise approach to value-based care in a manner that balances pragmatic, year-to-year wins with long-term targeted bets on the future – including developing new value-based products to meet market demand
- Conduct competitive assessments of value-based models in place today, but also the market pipeline of new models emerging from CMS/CMMI and other places; the incumbent will refine and improve existing models as well as lead new model ideation
- The incumbent is the business owner of the attribution engine and member assignment and as such will develop multi-year provider attribution targets for key markets based on future capability enhancements and in coordination with our clinical asset growth strategy
- Define annual market prioritization and provider attribution targets based on segment priorities and tools currently in place today
- Coordinate with Contracting and Performance teams to bring new models to market for TCOC, HEDIS, Stars, and risk adjustment accuracy improvements
- Support the development and piloting of new value-based models including bundles and system partnerships
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years’ related work experience of healthcare consulting, value-based analytics, or similar experience with heavy exposure to population health, value-based care and/or product design
- 5+ years’ direct supervisory/management experience
- Bachelor's degree or additional related work experience
