About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with teams across the enterprise to align AI initiatives with business goals and priorities
- Facilitate integration and collaboration, and identify opportunities for AI-driven solutions across the enterprise, its affiliates, and subsidiaries
- Oversee management, and adoption of a Responsible AI framework, partner with stakeholders to establish policies, rules, and standards
- Own the enterprise AI inventory, including intake, tracking, and portfolio management of AI solutions
- Evolve and lead the enterprise AI Governance Framework, encompassing policies, standards, and operating mechanisms for responsible and compliant AI use
- Develop and maintain AI risk management lifecycle, including risk taxonomies, assessment processes, and monitoring practices
- Oversee AI inventory management, including registration, risk scoring, model lifecycle tracking, and compliance reporting
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Cybersecurity, and Audit to translate regulatory requirements into actionable enterprise processes
- Lead documentation and audit readiness for internal and external examinations
- Develop and deliver AI governance content and reporting for senior leadership and governance bodies
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years’ related work experience in risk management, governance, compliance, AI/ML, data, or enterprise technology leadership roles
- 3+ years’ direct supervisory/management experience
- Related Bachelor’s degree or additional related equivalent work experience
- Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, risks, and operational processes (LLMs, generative AI, model lifecycle management, model validation, etc.)
- Experience in healthcare, financial services, or other highly regulated industries
- Expertise in regulatory and ethical aspects of AI, such as privacy, data security, discrimination/fairness, and explainability
- Proven success building enterprise-scale governance or risk programs
- Experience partnering with Legal, Compliance, Security, and executive leadership
- Fluency with data, analytics, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) and the MS Office suite to translate governance data into executive-ready insights
- Working knowledge of the healthcare regulatory environment (e.g., HIPAA) and how it shapes AI governance and data use
