About the role

  • Support and analyze activities related to the Direct Pay, Local Group and National Accounts Market Segments and all lines of business
  • Increase knowledge of actuarial science and insurance theory & practice, progressing to the FSA designation
  • Rate analysis and development
  • Forecast/variance analysis and reporting
  • Claim trend analysis

Requirements

  • Completion of one or more of the examinations from the Society of Actuaries
  • Related Bachelor's degree required Math/Statistics or related degree
  • 0-1 year of related previous work experience at Florida Blue or equivalent combination or transferable experience and education
