About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Engage with Medicare prospects and existing members to educate and guide them in the sales process.
  • Develop and maintain long term relationships with an assigned base of existing Florida Blue members.
  • Operate as a licensed telephonic sales agent, utilizing exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Assist prospective and existing FB members to find a Florida Blue Medicare plan by conducting a Needs Analysis.
  • Proactively educate current and prospective members on Medicare basics, enrollment requirements, and penalties.
  • Retain membership after enrollment through a series of welcome calls educating the members on their new plans.
  • Support marketing campaigns via inbound and outbound telephonic sales calls.
  • Exceed New Sales quota, retention rates, telephonic service levels, and quality expectations.
  • Identify and overcome buying obstacles from new customers and existing members.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients to drive retention.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years related work experience.
  • Experience Details: Worked in a tele-sales environment selling Medicare and ancillary plans.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Required Licenses and Certifications: Active Florida state health insurance license 2-15 Health, Life and Variable Annuities or 2-40 Health.
  • Demonstrated time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience working independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience using computers and navigating among multiple systems and screens as well as documenting information.
  • Experience with listening and relating key information to comparable selling situations to apply appropriate responses and actions.
  • The ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends.
