About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Engage with Medicare prospects and existing members to educate and guide them in the sales process.
- Develop and maintain long term relationships with an assigned base of existing Florida Blue members.
- Operate as a licensed telephonic sales agent, utilizing exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Assist prospective and existing FB members to find a Florida Blue Medicare plan by conducting a Needs Analysis.
- Proactively educate current and prospective members on Medicare basics, enrollment requirements, and penalties.
- Retain membership after enrollment through a series of welcome calls educating the members on their new plans.
- Support marketing campaigns via inbound and outbound telephonic sales calls.
- Exceed New Sales quota, retention rates, telephonic service levels, and quality expectations.
- Identify and overcome buying obstacles from new customers and existing members.
- Maintain regular contact with clients to drive retention.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years related work experience.
- Experience Details: Worked in a tele-sales environment selling Medicare and ancillary plans.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Required Licenses and Certifications: Active Florida state health insurance license 2-15 Health, Life and Variable Annuities or 2-40 Health.
- Demonstrated time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working independently and as part of a team.
- Experience using computers and navigating among multiple systems and screens as well as documenting information.
- Experience with listening and relating key information to comparable selling situations to apply appropriate responses and actions.
- The ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends.
