Key responsibilities & impact

Support and analyze activities related to the Direct Pay, Local Group and National Accounts Market Segment and all lines of business
Maintenance and improvement of Actuarial analyses such as trend setting, gross margin reporting, and financial forecasting
Rate analysis and development
Actuarial representation on cross-functional workgroups as an active participant
Forecast/variance analysis and reporting
Product development support
Segmentation support

Requirements

What you’ll need

4+ years related work experience.
Related Bachelor's degree required Math/Statistics or related degree
Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA)
Ability to communicate and present detailed business and financial strategic information in a clear and concise way to all levels of management.
Background in health field or insurance field
SAS, R and/or SQL experience
Familiarity with programming languages PC software (spreadsheets, graphics, word processors)
Independently managing projects and/or people
Innovation and process improvement
