Support and analyze activities related to the Direct Pay, Local Group and National Accounts Market Segments and all lines of business
Increase knowledge of actuarial science and insurance theory & practice, progressing to the FSA designation
Rate analysis and development
Forecast/variance analysis and reporting
Claim trend analysis

Requirements

What you’ll need

Related Bachelor's degree required Math/Statistics or related degree
Completion of one or more of the examinations from the Society of Actuaries
Background in health field or insurance field
Previous Actuarial experience or internship in an Actuarial area SAS, R and/or SQL experience
Minimum GPA of 3.2
Familiarity with programming languages PC software (spreadsheets, graphics, word processors)
Completion of college-level courses on micro and macroeconomics, introductory corporate finance, and applied statistical methods
