About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the Account Management team and ensure outstanding client support and service
- Oversee client escalation issues and collaborate with operations to resolve high-level issues
- Develop and cultivate strong working relationships with clients
- Oversee customer training and orientation during facility implementation, including pharmacy processes and supporting E-MAR when utilized
- Provide oversight and participate in business reviews with client leadership
- Ensure adherence to documentation standards in Salesforce CRM
- Assess and develop plans to improve client support and service efficiency and effectiveness
- Assess, develop, and maintain educational offerings for facility partners
- Participate in cross-functional planning for at-risk or lost accounts and develop retention strategies
- Oversee and assist in COVID and flu vaccination clinics and projects
- Recruit, develop, engage, and retain talent while maintaining a high-performing team
- Process payroll and approve expense reports
- Support local marketing initiatives and business development efforts
- Maintain expertise regarding healthcare and pharmacy standards, regulations, and clinical skills
Requirements
What you’ll need- Work ethic and integrity aligned with company philosophy
- Ability to lead project teams to deadlines
- Ability to build relationships with business unit management and act as a trusted advisor
- Strategic planning and efficient time management skills
- Ability to analyze causes and solve strategic and functional problems
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with team members
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- RN preferred
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- 5+ years of related experience
- Experience working in long-term care pharmacy and/or institutional patient care settings preferred
- Previous team management experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent client-facing and presentation skills
- Advanced computer skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Advanced proficiency in Salesforce CRM
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Ability to solve problems with minimal direction
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Quality-minded and motivated to identify errors and inaccuracies
- Ability to routinely travel within the assigned territory
- Ability to interact effectively in an office environment, manage conflict, and handle stressful situations and deadlines
