About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure necessary equipment is ready for dentists
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating needs
- Take and process patient X-rays
- Perform lab tasks as instructed
- Greet patients and schedule appointments
- Advise patients on recommended oral hygiene
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
- Deliver oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Handle general administrative and other duties to maintain the dental practice
- Travel between two locations as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1-2 years of Dental Assisting experience preferred
- Knowledge of general anatomy of the mouth and dental terms
- Understanding of crowns, fillings, extractions, root canals, and implants
- Strong communication skills
- Outstanding professionalism and high moral standards
- Self-motivated work ethic
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Driven personality and commitment to providing excellent patient care
- Able to travel between 2 locations
