About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure necessary equipment is ready for dentists
  • Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating needs
  • Take and process patient X-rays
  • Perform lab tasks as instructed
  • Greet patients and schedule appointments
  • Advise patients on recommended oral hygiene
  • Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
  • Deliver oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
  • Handle general administrative and other duties to maintain the dental practice
  • Travel between two locations as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1-2 years of Dental Assisting experience preferred
  • Knowledge of general anatomy of the mouth and dental terms
  • Understanding of crowns, fillings, extractions, root canals, and implants
  • Strong communication skills
  • Outstanding professionalism and high moral standards
  • Self-motivated work ethic
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Driven personality and commitment to providing excellent patient care
  • Able to travel between 2 locations
