About the role
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements under HGB and IFRS, and preparation of consolidated reporting under IFRS
- Maintenance of tax-mandated records
- Contribution to the balance sheet strategy, taking into account commercial and tax law requirements
- Support in the preparation of the annual report
- Collaboration with and technical support for the subledger
- Point of contact for auditors, tax auditors and tax advisors
Requirements
- Completed commercial or tax vocational training (possibly with further qualification), or a degree with a focus on finance and accounting
- Relevant professional experience in general ledger accounting, or preferably in a comparable role
- Good knowledge of accounting under HGB; IFRS experience is a plus
- Good English skills (minimum B1)
- Experience with SAP is an advantage but not a requirement
- Excellent analytical skills, initiative and conscientiousness
- High level of personal responsibility and commercial/business-oriented thinking
- Strong team skills and communication abilities
