About the role
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements under HGB and IFRS
- Preparation of consolidated reporting according to IFRS
- Maintenance of records required for tax purposes
- Participation in balance sheet strategy taking into account commercial and tax law requirements
- Contribution to the preparation of the annual report
- Cooperation with and professional support for the sub-ledger
- Point of contact for auditors, tax auditors and tax advisors
Requirements
- Completed commercial or tax specialist vocational training (possibly with further qualifications) or a degree with a focus in finance and accounting
- Relevant professional experience in (general) accounting or in a comparable role
- Good knowledge of accounting under HGB (familiarity with IFRS advantageous)
- Good English skills (minimum B1 level)
- Experience with SAP is an advantage but not mandatory
- Strong analytical skills, initiative and conscientiousness
- High level of personal responsibility and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Excellent team orientation and strong communication skills
