About the role
- Execute accounting entries in internal systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the company’s accounting policies.
- Validate reconciliations received from other company areas (Finance, HR, etc.) and reconcile other accounting accounts (fixed assets, inventory, payroll, loans, financing, and others).
- Support monthly and annual closings by preparing complete financial statements and accounting reports as required.
- Review and analyze variances in accounting accounts, investigate discrepancies, and propose adjustments when necessary.
- Contribute to the preparation of management reports and presentations to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
- Provide support to team members, assisting in the development of their technical skills and knowledge.
- Provide accounting guidance and general support to the group’s farms regarding accounting information within the company.
- Assist farm administrative staff with SAP configurations as needed.
- Collaborate with other company departments to ensure efficient integration of accounting information.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree completed.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in accounting.
- Knowledge of accounting systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel).
- Strong financial and accounting analysis skills.
- Knowledge of tax and fiscal legislation.
