About the role
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, build, and deliver high-quality features
- Mentor team members through practices such as pair programming and code reviews
- Restructure and refactor existing systems
- Help design the long-term vision for our technology and new component architectures
- Promote best practices to improve the quality of our code and processes
- Drive technical decisions within the team
Requirements
- Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, and Node.js
- Experience with cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases
- Strong knowledge of application design patterns (primarily APIs and messaging) and version control
- Solid knowledge of Kafka
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Terraform
- Familiarity with observability tools (Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus, and Datadog)
- Preferred: Knowledge of reactive programming with Vert.x
