About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Transport automotive batteries and other products to customers and partners, following predetermined routes
- Ensure safe transportation to prevent damage to goods
- Perform loading and unloading of products, ensuring the organization and integrity of the cargo
- Check orders prior to delivery, verifying invoices and required documentation
- Keep the vehicle in good working condition by performing checklists, cleaning, and reporting the need for preventive or corrective maintenance
- Comply with traffic and safety regulations as well as the company's internal policies
- Plan routes to optimize time and fuel consumption
- Maintain communication with the internal team to report delivery status or any incidents
- Represent the company professionally and provide quality customer service during deliveries.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Valid Brazilian driver's license (CNH), Category D (or as required by the company)
- Experience in transporting goods, preferably in the automotive sector
- Knowledge of traffic regulations and defensive driving
- Ability to handle heavy loads and operate material-handling equipment such as hand trucks/dollies (desirable)
- Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Good communication skills and ability to resolve issues quickly
- Availability for short trips, if required
