About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the supply chain areas for which you are responsible using business KPIs (e.g., service level, inventory structure, capacity utilization)
  • Oversee planning and ordering processes in coordination with plants and suppliers
  • Proactively initiate appropriate corrective actions when performance deviates
  • Use and further develop modern logistics tools
  • Perform data analyses and present results in a clear, understandable manner
  • Lead small projects within your area of responsibility
  • Develop and implement new processes, e.g., using design-thinking approaches
  • Prepare and validate decision documents and board presentations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree (e.g., Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering)
  • Initial to several years of experience in production planning, materials management, procurement or logistics (e.g., including internships or working-student roles – we welcome diverse career paths!)
  • Experience working in project teams, ideally in an international environment
  • Understanding of end-to-end logistics processes within a company
  • Knowledge of managing multi-stage manufacturing processes is an advantage
  • Confident user of MS Office (especially Excel); ideally first experience with SAP R/3 (MM, PP)
  • Structured, independent working style, analytical thinking and strong communication skills
  • Excellent German and English skills
