About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the supply chain areas for which you are responsible using business KPIs (e.g., service level, inventory structure, capacity utilization)
- Oversee planning and ordering processes in coordination with plants and suppliers
- Proactively initiate appropriate corrective actions when performance deviates
- Use and further develop modern logistics tools
- Perform data analyses and present results in a clear, understandable manner
- Lead small projects within your area of responsibility
- Develop and implement new processes, e.g., using design-thinking approaches
- Prepare and validate decision documents and board presentations
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree (e.g., Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering)
- Initial to several years of experience in production planning, materials management, procurement or logistics (e.g., including internships or working-student roles – we welcome diverse career paths!)
- Experience working in project teams, ideally in an international environment
- Understanding of end-to-end logistics processes within a company
- Knowledge of managing multi-stage manufacturing processes is an advantage
- Confident user of MS Office (especially Excel); ideally first experience with SAP R/3 (MM, PP)
- Structured, independent working style, analytical thinking and strong communication skills
- Excellent German and English skills
