About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the supply chain areas for which you are responsible using business KPIs (e.g., service level, inventory structure, capacity utilization)
Oversee planning and ordering processes in coordination with plants and suppliers
Proactively initiate appropriate corrective actions when performance deviates
Use and further develop modern logistics tools
Perform data analyses and present results in a clear, understandable manner
Lead small projects within your area of responsibility
Develop and implement new processes, e.g., using design-thinking approaches
Prepare and validate decision documents and board presentations

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree (e.g., Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering)
Initial to several years of experience in production planning, materials management, procurement or logistics (e.g., including internships or working-student roles – we welcome diverse career paths!)
Experience working in project teams, ideally in an international environment
Understanding of end-to-end logistics processes within a company
Knowledge of managing multi-stage manufacturing processes is an advantage
Confident user of MS Office (especially Excel); ideally first experience with SAP R/3 (MM, PP)
Structured, independent working style, analytical thinking and strong communication skills
Excellent German and English skills
