About the role
- Targeted implementation of company-wide standards at the Hemer site for processes, procedures, machinery, tooling and Lean Management
- Planning, implementation and monitoring of cost-optimization measures in production in collaboration with central specialist departments
- Active support to plant management in the strategic development and future orientation of the Hemer site
- Implementation of internal automation programs — from the initial concept to successful realization
- Collaboration with R&D up to SOP (Start of Production) in new product development
- Leadership and development of the department with a focus on collaboration, empowerment and continuous learning
Requirements
- Degree in engineering (Bachelor’s/Master’s) in mechanical engineering, production engineering, process engineering or a comparable qualification
- Solid knowledge of metal processes and, ideally, plastics processing, surface treatment and assembly processes
- Several years of professional experience in Industrial Engineering, ideally in a multi-stage production environment
- Enthusiasm for leadership, taking responsibility and developing employees
- Structured, solution-oriented working style and strong methodological competence in project management and problem solving
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken
