About the role
- Maintain the highest standards of quality and performance for our products
- Serve as a key interface between our Warranty Clearing Center and our Customer Service team
- Identify technical deficiencies and malfunctions in our products and processes
- Conduct systematic investigations and tests and analyze our products
- Improve the efficiency of testing processes by creating comprehensive test documentation and checklists
- Derive and implement continuous improvement measures for products and processes
- Develop interdisciplinary quality strategies
Requirements
- Qualification as an engineer with a focus on quality management
- Experience in the relevant industry
- Specific expertise in Field Quality Engineering or an equivalent role
- Solid industry knowledge, particularly in value-adding technologies such as plastic injection molding and coating processes
- Strong quality awareness and strong customer orientation
- Proficient in performance requirements and product characteristics
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards and with modern quality management methods such as TQM, FMEA, Ishikawa and Six Sigma
- Knowledge of risk management and problem-solving methods
- Experience in damaged/failed-part analysis and field processes (VDA) is highly advantageous
- Analytical mindset, decisiveness and excellent communication skills
- Very good command of English and willingness to travel
