About the role
- Identify technical deficiencies and malfunctions in our products and processes
- Conduct systematic investigations and tests
- Analyze our products to ensure they meet quality requirements
- Prepare comprehensive test documentation and checklists
- Derive continuous improvement measures for products and processes
- Develop interdisciplinary quality strategies
- Communicate investigation results and proposed solutions
- Take responsibility for strategic and conceptual aspects of complaint and returns management
- Collaborate with internal development departments, manufacturing, quality management and external partners to achieve quality objectives
Requirements
- Qualification as an engineer in the field of quality management
- Experience in the relevant industry
- Expertise in Field Quality Engineering or a comparable role
- Solid industry knowledge, especially in value-creation technologies such as injection molding and coating processes
- Strong quality awareness
- Strong customer orientation
- Proficient in performance requirements and product characteristics
- Familiar with relevant regulations and standards as well as the latest quality management methods (TQM, FMEA, Ishikawa and Six Sigma)
- Knowledge of risk management and problem-solving methods
- Experience in failed-part analysis field processes (VDA) is highly beneficial
- Analytical skills, decisiveness and excellent communication skills
- Very good command of English
- Willingness to travel and flexibility
