About the role

  • The GridX product team is looking for a Data Science intern to work within our Data Science team.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and analysts on a wide range of problems.
  • Bring scientific thought and statistical methods to leverage the vast amount of data.
  • Enable the product team to build, develop and improve products that will revolutionize the energy industry.
  • Research, analyze, and present findings using Python-based tools to recommend data-driven solutions.
  • Analyze large-scale time series datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Structure analytical results into clear, visual narratives that drive actionable business decisions.
  • Perform comprehensive data quality assurance including cleaning, validation, and usability testing.
  • Support the development of thought leadership content based on data-driven insights and industry analysis.
  • Work across time zones in a dynamic start-up setting.

Requirements

  • Seeking degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Physics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related quantitative field
  • Experience in Data Visualisation, Statistical Learning and other Data Science methods, with a particular focus on time series data
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis and visualization
