About the role

  • Collaborate with the development team to understand technical and business requirements and translate them into effective testing strategies.
  • Develop, maintain and evolve automated tests, especially using TypeScript- or JavaScript-based tools (such as Playwright, Jest, Mocha, Cypress, among others).
  • Perform manual and functional testing when necessary, particularly for new flows or sensitive validations.
  • Support the setup and maintenance of testing environments and ensure QA workflows are integrated into the continuous development process (CI/CD).
  • Identify, report and track bugs, ensuring traceability of issues through to resolution.
  • Participate in technical reviews and support the creation of acceptance criteria and test scenarios from the start of the development cycle.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining test documentation, facilitating understanding of QA flows and coverage for other team members.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on test automation.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript and frameworks such as Playwright, Jest, Mocha, Cypress, or similar.
  • Experience with manual testing and writing functional test cases.
  • Experience with BDD (Behavior Driven Development), including writing and executing behavior-based tests.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and test automation pipelines (GitHub Actions in our context).
  • Knowledge of integration testing, regression testing, and staging/homologation environments.
  • Proactivity, a strong sense of quality, good organization, and clear communication with team members.
