About the role

  • Conduct sales and marketing operations to promote Greenbox Storage on campus
  • Ensure all advertising and marketing tasks are complete each week
  • Conduct item pickup and drop off operations at the end of spring semester and beginning of fall semester
  • Lead and supervise campus activities to ensure weekly order goals are met
  • Conduct 10 - 15 daily calls to hot leads (students with accounts but no orders)
  • Build strong relationships with housing/res life, RAs, student clubs, and Greek life
  • Explore partnerships with school administration and aim to secure official partnerships or courtesy mentions
  • Target key student segments: international students, first-years, and study abroad programs
  • Recruit and manage referral ambassadors to extend reach
  • Operate trucks for transportation of customers items; load and unload belongings
  • Manage inventory of orders in our APP and organize orders at the storage facility
  • Ensure on-campus awareness through sales calls, flyers, and guerrilla marketing
  • Strive to hit performance metrics each week and attend required meetings
  • Manage team of movers and maintain a positive attitude throughout internship

Requirements

  • Freshman, sophomore, or junior at your university (you must be a college student and live on / nearby your campus)
  • Relentless work ethic

  • Leadership ability - can you lead a team during move ins and move outs?
  • Top notch communication - this is a fast-paced business. Quick and efficient communication is a must.
  • High standards - our service is the best in the country. We need Interns who will maintain this level of quality.
  • Knowledge of your campus - you will be conducting guerrilla marketing on campus.
  • Relentless determination to get things done the right way.
  • Ability and willingness to drive a moving truck and transport items from campus to storage and back
  • Physically able to load and unload customers belongings

  • Some Business Development Interns will make up to $10,000 this season.
