About the role
- You implement the process control technology for our integrated wastewater solutions
- Your solutions enable self-optimizing controls and data mining in water cycle management
- You carry out basic and detailed engineering for process technology plants
- You prepare technical specifications and planning documentation
- You develop programming and modify functions in the process control system
- You support commissioning activities
- You perform optimization and monitoring of control loops
- You act as the technical contact for customers and suppliers
Requirements
- Vocational training as a technician (m/f/d) or Bachelor/Master degree (m/f/d) in electrical engineering, automation engineering or equivalent qualification
- Relevant professional experience in independently managing electrical/automation projects, programmable logic controllers (ideally Siemens), preferably in (waste)water treatment, chemical process engineering, or the chemical industry
- Analytical thinking and ability to transfer knowledge to new application areas
- Passion for interdisciplinary challenges, view obstacles as motivation, and successfully realize a vision within a team
- Committed, flexible, conscientious, and collaborative way of working
- Willingness to take responsibility and to see things from others’ perspectives
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex issues
- Fluent German and good English skills
