About the role
- Do you want to actively shape the energy transition and take on responsibility?
- Develop and implement the company strategy for large-scale battery storage, from business models and grid integration to international expansion
- Analyze and prioritize business areas, market opportunities and competitive situations
- Monitor and assess relevant markets, trends and regulatory developments to identify strategic opportunities and risks early
- Develop concrete recommendations for integrating storage into the power grid or for expanding into new markets
- Collaborate with project development, implementation and operations teams to support strategic initiatives
- Prepare analyses, decision-making materials and presentations for management, investors and other stakeholders
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with grid operators and other stakeholders in the battery storage and renewable energy sectors
- Attend trade shows and industry events for market monitoring and company representation
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience (4–5 years) in strategy development, ideally in the energy sector with a focus on large-scale battery storage and flexibility markets
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a structured approach to complex issues
- Extensive knowledge of market mechanisms, business models and regulatory frameworks in energy storage
- Convincing communication of strategic content — both when working with internal teams and when engaging external partners or stakeholders
- Independent, solution-oriented work style and willingness to assume responsibility in a dynamic environment
- Enthusiasm for renewable energy and storage technologies
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
