About the role
- Manage the entire procurement process from requirements planning to on-time delivery
- Maintain supplier relationships, monitor performance and resolve issues
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favorable terms
- Analyze market trends, suppliers and alternative sourcing options
- Draft and manage contracts in accordance with legal and internal standards
- Maintain accurate data on materials, goods and supplier performance
- Optimize processes, manage inventory and ensure quality assurance
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks
- Monitor performance using defined KPIs
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training, preferably as an industrial clerk or in a comparable apprenticeship; alternatively a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field
- Several years of procurement experience; experience in renewable energy / BESS / logistics is an advantage
- Solid understanding of procurement processes, market trends and supplier structures
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build long-term supplier relationships (national & international)
- Excellent written and verbal communication in German and English – German skills at C1 level are mandatory
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Ability to efficiently resolve supply chain challenges
- Close collaboration with functions such as Senior Leadership, Engineering, Project Development and Finance
