About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise Appian applications
  • Build scalable and secure solutions aligned with business requirements and architectural standards
  • Develop integrations with enterprise systems using APIs, web services, and connected systems
  • Support production and non-production environments through troubleshooting, incident resolution, and performance optimisation
  • Participate in solution design, code reviews, release activities, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes
  • Share knowledge, mentor team members, and promote development best practices across the team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years' experience developing enterprise applications using Appian
  • Strong experience with Appian Process Models, SAIL Interfaces, Record Types, Reports, Sites, Expression Rules, and Decision Rules
  • Experience developing integrations using REST APIs, Connected Systems, Web APIs, JSON, XML, and OAuth
  • Strong SQL Server and relational database design experience
  • Experience troubleshooting application defects, performance issues, and production incidents
  • Experience working within Agile delivery teams
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Desirable Appian certifications
  • Experience with UiPath, Power Platform, or other low-code platforms
  • Experience working within utilities, government, or other regulated industries
  • Agile or Scrum certification
