About the role

  • Own the full user experience process for our core products-from ideation and research to wireframes, prototypes, and final designs.
  • Create information architectures, user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs with interactive prototypes for testing and stakeholder alignment.
  • Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to deeply understand advisor, recordkeeper, and other personas’ needs, pain points behaviors and workflows.
  • Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements, iterate, and deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Present research findings and design rationale to stakeholders at all levels, crafting compelling narratives that connect user needs to business value.
  • Work closely with engineering through detailed specifications and ongoing support to ensure design quality through production.
  • Establish and maintain design patterns, UI components, and UX and accessibility standards to ensure consistency and scalability across products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in design or related field (Master’s degree a plus).
  • 5+ years of professional UX/UI design background with minimum 2 years working on digital experiences.
  • Previous experience in 0-1 products and/or fintech preferred but not required.
  • Proven track record of effective collaboration with product managers and engineers in an agile environment to ship user-centered design solutions.
  • Proficiency in Figma and other industry-standard design tools.
  • Experience conducting moderated usability testing and translating research insights.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity.
