About the role
- Own the full user experience process for our core products-from ideation and research to wireframes, prototypes, and final designs.
- Create information architectures, user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs with interactive prototypes for testing and stakeholder alignment.
- Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to deeply understand advisor, recordkeeper, and other personas’ needs, pain points behaviors and workflows.
- Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements, iterate, and deliver high-impact solutions.
- Present research findings and design rationale to stakeholders at all levels, crafting compelling narratives that connect user needs to business value.
- Work closely with engineering through detailed specifications and ongoing support to ensure design quality through production.
- Establish and maintain design patterns, UI components, and UX and accessibility standards to ensure consistency and scalability across products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in design or related field (Master’s degree a plus).
- 5+ years of professional UX/UI design background with minimum 2 years working on digital experiences.
- Previous experience in 0-1 products and/or fintech preferred but not required.
- Proven track record of effective collaboration with product managers and engineers in an agile environment to ship user-centered design solutions.
- Proficiency in Figma and other industry-standard design tools.
- Experience conducting moderated usability testing and translating research insights.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
