About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You independently plan, design and deliver German courses at levels A1 to C1 and professionally follow up on them.
- You will teach 12 to 16 teaching units per week on-site at our Düsseldorf location.
- Classes usually take place on three to four weekdays per week, with an average of four teaching units per day.
- Working hours can be flexibly adapted to your availability.
- In addition, you will run tutorials and develop and prepare appropriate teaching and learning materials.
Requirements
What you’ll need- You are advanced in your studies (preferably at master’s level) or hold a degree in relevant fields such as DaF, German Studies, Linguistics or other humanities and language-related programs.
- Ideally, you have teaching experience and/or experience preparing students for exams in DaZ/DaF (German as a Second/Foreign Language).
- Flexibility, organizational skills, ability to work in a team and cooperativeness.
- Pedagogical sensitivity and intercultural interest.
- German at native-speaker level.
