About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Strategize the technical design for adding multiple new reporting bases. Evaluate what the system provides out-of-the-box versus what needs to be custom-built to prevent report latency and ensure scalability.
Manage complex message workflows, integrating investment cash flows and ensuring accurate accounting basis treatments across interconnected entity structures.
Work directly within the tech stack to build, configure, and modify system logic, data pipelines, and frontend/backend components.
Actively leverage enterprise AI tools (OpenAI, Anthropic, Copilot) deployed on the cloud to accelerate development and solve complex architectural challenges.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong financial services or life insurance background with deep knowledge of investment accounting, cash flows, and Statutory (STAT) / NAIC basis exposure.
Direct, technical experience with State Street PAM (Princeton Financial Systems / SS&C PAM) is highly preferred. You must understand its underlying table structures and how it has been built/configured.
Hands-on proficiency with Angular (Frontend), and .NET and Python (Backend).
Ability to translate complex accounting and consolidation rules into actionable engineering tasks.
