About the role
- You will be part of a small, close-knit product team and play a key role in building the next generation of grape products. Working closely with other designers, product managers, and engineers, you will ensure our solutions are both functional and delightful.
- Your focus will be on user research and interaction design, with the goal of continuously improving usability, accessibility, and overall user satisfaction. In addition, you will actively contribute to the evolution of our design system and develop our visual language across the platform.
- Design intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing interfaces for web-based products
- Create high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and interactive flows in Figma
- Work closely with engineers to ensure accurate and realistic implementation of designs
- Support feature discovery and concept development through wireframes, prototypes, and testing
- Plan and conduct user interviews, usability tests, and surveys to gather actionable insights
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify pain points and opportunities
- Translate research findings into clear design recommendations and user flows
- Collaborate with product management and customer success to consistently incorporate user feedback into design decisions
- Build frameworks for long-term measurement of design impact and product usability
- Partner closely with product managers to align design solutions with business goals
- Work with engineers throughout the entire design handoff and implementation process
- Participate in design reviews and actively shape a collaborative, feedback-driven design culture.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product design, UX, or interaction design, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment
- Strong experience in user research and usability testing
- Excellent proficiency in Figma
- Solid understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and inclusive design principles
- Proven experience collaborating with engineers and product managers in agile product teams
- Strong visual design skills with a high level of attention to detail and consistency
- Curiosity about new technologies (e.g., AI) and their potential to improve the user experience
- Excellent communication skills in English and German
- Experience or interest in UX writing to ensure a clear, consistent, and human product voice
