About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The selected candidate will serve as an instructor in the MSW program, teaching courses across the curriculum at the micro, mezzo, and macro level.
- The teaching load is 24 credits, 12 in both the fall and spring semesters.
- Courses will be taught in-person or synchronously online based on candidate availability.
- The candidate will participate in activities serving the department, such as attending department meetings, attending faculty assembly meetings, and contributing to program development and assessment.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Candidates must have a master’s degree in social work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program.
- Candidates must have an earned doctorate in social work or related field by August 1, 2026.
- Candidates must have at least two years post-master’s social work degree practice experience.
- Candidates must be able to teach courses across the social work curriculum at both the MSW and BSW level.
- The candidate must have proven ability to work with colleagues and students from diverse backgrounds and identities in an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community.
