About the role
- Oversee the Phoenix, AZ (East Valley) territory and build awareness of academic programs and campus community
- Host and implement event/activity plans for your territory that drive inquiry generation
- Provide exceptional counseling to prospective students and their families in-person, over the phone, via email, text or Zoom
- Champion the GCE mission, promoting Grand Canyon University student success and institutional growth
- Connect with community college students, faculty and staff and engage major stakeholders in your territory
- Maintain a full schedule including fairs, school visits, presentations, community/campus events and hosting campus visits
- Work independently in a work-from-home role to support prospective campus students through the admissions process
- Travel extensively within your territory and attend evening and weekend events as needed
Requirements
- Must live in or near Phoenix, AZ
- A bachelor’s degree
- No delinquent or in default on a federal student loan as verified in your credit report
- Outstanding time management and organization skills
- Clear communication and engaging presentation skills
- Self-motivation and drive to succeed
- High emotional intelligence
- A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, a flexible schedule and is willing to travel
- Clean driving record
- Evening and/or weekend availability for some events
- For those who reside outside of Phoenix, expect to travel to Phoenix 1-3 times per month
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

- Starting salary is $58,656 per year
