Accounts Payable Specialist

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Codes all invoices into proper accounts for payment
- Inputs invoices for payment into accounting software
- Audits purchasing cards transactions and identifies issues, discrepancies, errors, etc. and resolves or elevates to management
- Processes expense reimbursements
- Prints various accounts payable reports and maintains accounts payable files and records
- Responds to, researches and resolves vendor inquiries with regard to accounts payable issues
- Reconciles vendor statements
- Prepares analysis of accounts as required
- Assists with monthly financial closings
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some college-level accounting courses is preferred
- Minimum 2 years accounting/accounts payable related work experience
- An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience and education may be substituted upon supervisor’s approval
