Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop **AOCS/GNC subsystems** for satellite missions
Develop and verify AOCS/GNC algorithms and related software
Perform AOCS/GNC analysis and simulation campaigns
Build and maintain analysis and simulation tools
Support satellite projects from early phases through customer acceptance
Contribute to satellite proposals and system studies for AOCS/GNC topics
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and design justifications
Collaborate with international engineering teams across satellite projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
5+ years of experience in the space industry
Hands-on experience with **AOCS/GNC subsystems and software**
Strong knowledge of **estimation and control theory**
Good knowledge of **Matlab/Simulink** or comparable toolsuites
Experience with AOCS/GNC analysis, simulation, verification, or algorithm development
Fluency in spoken and written English
Ability to work on-site or in close collaboration with teams in Friedrichshafen
