Key responsibilities & impact

Operate 100+ multi-cloud streaming clusters and database infrastructure
Diagnose cross-layer failure modes
Design safe upgrade and rollout strategies
Improve observability, automation, and operational ergonomics
Partner with database and platform teams
Serve as a primary escalation point for incidents
Mentor and support engineers

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of engineering experience
Experience with high-throughput streaming systems
Strong Kubernetes experience in AWS, GCP, or Azure
Experience leading complex technical efforts
Ability to influence technical direction
Strong understanding of distributed systems failure modes
Proficiency in at least one systems-oriented language (Go preferred)
Working knowledge of Linux internals, networking, cloud storage
Experience participating in blameless incident response
