About the role

Influence roadmap and career objectives.
Work with team to deliver new features and iterate.
Contribute to open-source projects beyond team scope.
Mentor and support other team members and participate in design discussions.
Learn by gaining deeper understanding of cloud product and codebase of large distributed system.
Communicate and collaborate in a remote-first engineering organisation using video calls.

Experience collaborating with Product, UX and graphic designers to turn their designs into great user experiences.
Technologies: React, TypeScript, Webpack, Jest, Cypress, Go, Python (experience with other similar programming languages is fine!).
Experience delivering projects from requirements to shipping in a self-driven way.
Experience developing software that runs in the Cloud.
Experience writing clean, robust, and performant software that is easily maintained by others.
Motivated self starter with a bias towards action.
Customer focused and passion for creating intuitive products.
Pragmatism: ability to break down complex challenges and deliver MVPs iteratively.
Collaboration and communication skills for fully remote teamwork.
Bonus: Been a user of Grafana and Prometheus in operational roles.
Bonus: Exposure to microservices architecture and distributed systems or desire to learn.
Bonus: Familiarity with being on-call and performing operations/SRE tasks or with infrastructure as code.
