About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build pipeline by identifying high-value accounts, researching buying committees, and uncovering the business initiatives that create opportunities for meaningful conversations.
  • Develop personalized outbound campaigns across email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels that prioritize relevance over volume and quality over templates.
  • Use AI-powered tools including ChatGPT, Claude, Clay, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, and HubSpot to accelerate research, improve personalization, and continuously refine your prospecting approach.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound opportunities through thoughtful discovery that uncovers business priorities, marketing challenges, and buying readiness.
  • Represent Gradial at conferences, customer events, and industry networking opportunities while building relationships that generate long-term pipeline.
  • Partner closely with Marketing and Account Executives to refine messaging, share market insights, and identify new opportunities within target accounts.
  • Continuously test new outreach strategies, messaging, and AI-assisted workflows that improve conversion rates and help define best practices across the team.
  • Maintain accurate account activity and pipeline data while ensuring every customer interaction sets the next stage of the sales process up for success.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2-4 years of experience in business development, sales development, or another outbound-focused SaaS sales role with a history of consistently generating qualified pipeline.
  • Experience building your own prospect lists, identifying buying signals, and creating personalized outreach that earns responses from enterprise decision makers.
  • Confidence engaging senior marketing, digital, operations, and business leaders through phone, email, LinkedIn, and live conversations.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and modern prospecting platforms.
  • Experience incorporating AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Clay, or other LLMs into your daily workflow to improve research, productivity, and outreach quality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas and build credibility quickly.
  • A naturally curious, resourceful, and resilient mindset. You ask good questions, adapt quickly, embrace feedback, and look for better ways to work.
  • Willingness to travel to conferences and industry events to build relationships and generate new business opportunities.
