About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Take on technical and functional responsibility for the implementation of archiving projects
Create and implement archiving concepts for SAP systems
Perform customizing in the area of data archiving
Ensure legal requirements (e.g., retention periods, GDPR, data residency requirements, provision for auditors)
Implement and operate SAP ArchiveLink and Information Lifecycle Management (ILM)
Integrate external archiving and document management systems (DMS)
Define and set up custom archiving objects for GQS-specific products
Implement optical archiving for incoming and outgoing documents (classic with NAST and via output management)
Document system settings and establish automated, recurring archiving

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of project experience in SAP data archiving and SAP ILM
Confident handling of SAP ArchiveLink and integration of external archive systems
Experience in defining custom archiving objects and adapting standard objects
Knowledge of relevant legal regulations (GDPR, GoBD, HGB, AO)
Basic ABAP skills for analysis and adjustment of archiving processes
Understanding of interfaces to DMS and ECM systems
Technical know-how in storage and database management
