Litigate matters on behalf of the company
Coordinate with and manage outside counsel on active litigation matters
Serve as the primary legal point of contact for internal business teams on litigation-related inquiries
Conduct pre-litigation demand responses, early case assessments, and settlement evaluations
Review, respond to, and track third-party subpoenas
Manage litigation holds, document preservation, and discovery responses in pending and threatened litigation
Draft and review correspondence, declarations, and other litigation-related documents
Maintain and update the litigation and claims tracker

Requirements

What you’ll need

2-5 years of litigation experience
Solid analytical/logical mindset and attention to detail
Strong written/verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Juris Doctorate
Active bar membership in good standing (admission in Virginia or Texas preferred)
Familiarity with federal and state rules of civil procedure, e-discovery principles, and subpoena compliance requirements.
