About the role

Lead and implement test strategy for manual and automation, working closely with product engineering
Work closely with Product team (PMs, Designers, Developers, and SDET) from feature inception
Participate in product & tech discussions; refine acceptance criteria and testing estimation
Understand business and product requirements related to payments and existing service architecture
Write concise, comprehensive, detailed test plans based on business and product feature requirements
Improve test automation experience by enhancing tools/scripts, coverage, and code structure
Automate repeated manual tasks to improve productivity
Take responsibility for feature quality and delivery of entire features
Debug and analyze bugs, aiding developers to find root causes
Work on cutting-edge internet/software technology for GoPay payments platform

At least 3-5 years of experience in professional testing in Microservices/API/App/Web
Hands-on in test automation using any language (preferably Java & Kotlin)
Experience with open source automation libraries like Playwright, Rest Assured, Appium, Selenium
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Gitlab, Jenkins
Deep knowledge in manual & automation test methodologies and principles; 60+40 (auto + manual)
Hands on experience with Load testing tools like Jmeter, Locust etc is a plus
Excellent analytical, debugging skill and problem solving with attention to detail
Well-versed with Agile methodology, SDLC and STLC
