About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Engage with Public Safety, Military, and other Pro customers
  • Monitor and answer support requests relating to all Pro line products
  • Document current use cases, issues, and opportunities
  • Provide regular reports to leadership on product and customer performance to help develop future strategies and roadmap
  • Work cross-functionally with Product Management and Engineering to troubleshoot technical issues
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Conduct virtual and onsite training and equipment installations with customers
  • Support technical presales activities, including onsite or virtual customer demos
  • Support business development activities such as RFPs, demos, trade shows, and Q&A sessions
  • Stay current on technological advancements in the industry and customers' latest employment criteria
  • Advocate for customers by identifying issues and contributing to the voice-of-the-customer program
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Product, Engineering, and Solutions Architect teams
  • Travel up to 50% as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ years of professional experience, preferably deploying or utilizing technology products in a Public Safety or Military organization
  • Some professional experience related to tactical communications
  • Solid technical background with hands-on experience in digital technologies
  • Ability to grasp customers’ needs and suggest timely solutions
  • Exceptional organizational, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Physical ability to carry 30 pounds of equipment and work in austere conditions
  • Experience with CRM tools and ticketing systems such as Salesforce or Jira
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
  • Ability to explain technical details and requirements to both non-technical and highly technical audiences through onsite and virtual engagements
  • Strong work ethic and ability to provide quick and effective resolutions to customer questions
  • Customer/service orientation and ability to build strong customer relationships
  • Strategic thinking, planning, and out-of-the-box problem-solving
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs.
  • U.S. Citizen or Green Card required for ITAR compliance
  • May require eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
  • Preferred: passion for tactical communications and technology
  • Preferred: operational experience such as active-duty military, law enforcement, or Public Safety experience, including emergency management, search and rescue, wildland firefighting, or disaster response
