About the role

  • Translate customer insights and market trends into sketches, CAD files, and design concepts
  • Create original patterns, textures, and finishes that align with brand aesthetics
  • Produce renderings and models to communicate design intent to suppliers and internal teams
  • Collaborate with sourcing and vendors to iterate on samples for feasibility and manufacturability
  • Support packaging refinement and visual consistency through product renderings
  • Ensure cohesive branding across product lines, including logo placement and finishes
  • Maintain organized design documentation and version control
  • Stay current with design trends, materials, and manufacturing innovations
  • Participate in sample reviews and propose improvements for cost, quality, and user experience
  • Work closely with Product Development, Sourcing, QA, and Creative teams to ensure seamless execution from concept to production

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in consumer product or industrial design (housewares, pet, or outdoor products preferred)
  • Proficiency in CAD and 3D visualization tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Rhino, Fusion 360, KeyShot)
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Strong sketching, rendering, and visualization abilities
  • Understanding of materials and manufacturing processes (e.g., injection molding, metal fabrication, soft goods)
  • Knowledge of surface design, pattern development, and CMF trends
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across internal and external teams
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Monday.com is a plus
