About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with account reconciliations and payroll.
- Participate in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Record accounting journal entries and perform monthly balance sheet closings.
- Support tax calculation and compliance with tax filings and statutory obligations.
- Maintain direct contact with the accounts payable and accounts receivable teams.
- Collaborate with the team during internal and external audits.
- Monitor updates to accounting and tax regulations.
- Assist in implementing improvements to accounting processes.
- Contribute to the analysis of balance sheet and financial variances.
- Knowledge of fixed assets, including managing disposals, transfers, and classification.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (completed or in progress).
- Basic knowledge of Brazilian accounting standards (BR GAAP) and international standards (IFRS).
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle).
