About the role

  • Develop and grow a world-class team of Brand and Product Designers.
  • Create design processes that champion an iterative, fast-paced, data-driven design philosophy.
  • Partner with Product leadership to craft a product vision and lead execution.
  • Bring modern design and brand taste to community engagement tools.
  • Develop user research best practices with consistent feedback loops.

  • Champion the use of AI across your team to emphasize velocity.
  • Design accessible interfaces for varying levels of user ability.
  • Maintain high empathy in your team’s work.
  • Report to the Chief Product Officer.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience leading Design teams in consumer internet or SaaS companies.
  • Experience managing a team of at least 3 direct reports.
  • 5+ years of product design experience, including 3+ years as an individual contributor.
  • Highly skilled in responsive web design and native mobile applications.
  • Proficiency with design tools like Figma and Maze.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to tell stories.
