About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You manage our AI content pipeline: you identify which topics will resonate, approve articles, and steer the AI — human in the loop, you have the final say.
  • You organize interviews and secure interview partners: players, coaches, club personalities, and brands — you build your network within the golf scene.
  • You produce moving-image content: short video interviews, social-media shorts, and podcast formats. Camera experience is a plus; willingness to learn is enough — AI supports you with editing, captions, and preparation.
  • You plan the editorial week together with our student assistants and gradually step into editorial leadership.
  • You attend tournaments and events — on site, with camera and microphone.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • You play golf yourself. This is a requirement for the role — your passion for the sport is the filter no AI can replace.
  • You have (nearly) completed your studies or are looking for a dual-study model — and you want to start full-time, not just on the side.
  • You are an organizer: you approach people, arrange appointments, and keep many balls in the air at once.
  • You enjoy video and social formats — in front of or behind the camera.
  • You are curious about AI tools and want to learn how a media company will actually work in 2026.
  • You write and speak German confidently; English is an advantage.

Benefits

Comp & perks
  • Real responsibility from day one — and a clear development path: after onboarding you will take over operational content management.
  • Many opportunities for progression — we retain strong performers.
  • The most advanced AI setup in sports journalism — you’ll learn workflows other newsrooms will only have in years to come.
  • Flat hierarchies, short decision-making paths, and plenty of freedom for your ideas — you’ll work directly with the founder.
  • Press trips to some of the world’s most beautiful golf locations and new (test) equipment for particularly committed team members.
  • A great office in central Cologne — flexible hours and hybrid work possible.
  • Golf perks: Golf Post Premium, invitations to tournaments and industry events.
