  • You create social media content for Facebook, Instagram and YouTube
  • Together with the Head of Editorial, Alexandra, you plan and organize topics, content and formats
  • You conduct qualified background research on site, online and by phone
  • You develop ideas to further grow Golf Post
  • Once you are well trained, you may sometimes manage the site alone as editor-on-duty

Requirements

  • You work in a structured way and are used to taking responsibility — we are looking for people who take ownership, not for someone to fetch coffee
  • You should not shy away from late working hours and must be available occasionally on weekends
  • You are able to write texts with a confident style (spelling, grammar and expression)
  • Affinity for golf is desirable, and a strong willingness to learn is essential
  • You have a positive attitude and are a team player
  • Knowledge of golf equipment is a major plus
Benefits
  • Flat hierarchies and short decision-making processes
  • Your opinion matters to us — we offer plenty of freedom to contribute your ideas
  • Our editorial leadership started at Golf Post as an intern — all career paths are open to you
  • We do not let good people go
  • Insights into a major sports circuit and the opportunity to learn a sports media company in all its facets
  • Opportunity for top performers to be sent on press trips to some of the world’s most beautiful locations or to be equipped with new (test) equipment (golf experience required)
  • Great office located in central Cologne, but fully remote work is also possible
