About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor daily application activity, including approved, countered, and pending loans, to identify deals requiring follow-up or clarification
  • Contact dealers to confirm intent to fund, clarify loan terms, and address conditions or documentation needs
  • Identify at-risk applications and escalate to DRMs or Lending Operations
  • Track and report conversion outcomes, turnaround times, and lost-deal reasons
  • Serve as the internal contact for assigned or regional dealerships
  • Partner with DRMs to maintain service for top-performing dealers and increase engagement with lower-volume accounts
  • Conduct outreach campaigns to re-engage inactive or dormant dealerships
  • Collaborate with Lending Operations and DRMs to support efficient funding processes
  • Act as a liaison between DRMs and Lending Operations
  • Communicate dealer feedback and process challenges to the Regional Production Manager
  • Participate in weekly pipeline meetings
  • Support rollout of new programs, pricing updates, and incentives through dealer communications and feedback collection
  • Review and analyze dealer performance metrics, approval trends, and conversion ratios
  • Present improvement opportunities and findings to leadership
  • Maintain dashboards and reports measuring responsiveness, dealer funding volume, and reactivation campaign success
  • Support preparation of performance summaries and leadership meeting reports
  • Contact inactive or low-volume dealers and coordinate re-engagement steps with the assigned DRM
  • Maintain a regional reactivation tracker
  • Ensure compliance with lending laws, regulations, BSA/AML, fair-lending standards, and Golden 1 policies
  • Maintain accurate and confidential dealer and member data according to information security standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate's Degree in Business Management or Finance required at minimum, or equivalent work experience may be substituted
  • 5 or more years of experience performing similar jobs in a financial institution
  • Strong understanding of indirect auto lending processes and dealership operations
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and execute proactive outreach
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, Microsoft Excel, and reporting tools
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Manual dexterity to operate an online computer terminal and standard office equipment
  • Prolonged sitting throughout the workday with occasional mobility
  • Corrected vision within the normal range
  • Hearing within normal range; a hearing-enhancement device will be provided if needed
  • Overnight stays may be required for regions requiring extended travel
  • Travel by plane or other public conveyance is required for headquarters meetings, dealership support, conferences, and training
  • No licenses or certifications required
