Provide legal representation in complex, high-exposure litigation and combat healthcare and insurance fraud
Take ownership of cases from inception to resolution; draft pleadings, correspondence, memoranda, and other documents
Summarize medical records and write client status reports
Identify, research, and analyze legal issues; take and defend depositions; handle arbitrations and argue motions
Attend in-person and virtual court appearances; explain litigation to nonlawyers and move cases toward cost-effective resolutions
Manage multiple assignments and deadlines while maintaining professionalism
Requirements
6+ years of experience in civil litigation: automobile negligence or premises liability
Experience handling depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and other complex assignments
Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
Exhibits good judgment and organizational skills
Ability to manage a large caseload and day-to-day tasks within cases
Strong desire to learn and grow in the legal profession
Strong verbal and interpersonal skills to work with senior attorneys, partners, staff, clients, opposing counsel, and the court system
