About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, JavaScript, and Visual Studio Code (VS Code)
  • Perform manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications
  • Develop and execute functional, regression, integration, sanity, API, and end-to-end test cases
  • Validate integrations between multiple systems and services
  • Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or similar platforms
  • Analyze requirements, test results, report defects, and track issues using JIRA
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure software quality
  • Maintain automation frameworks, reusable test utilities, and test data
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Perform root cause analysis for defects and production issues
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production releases
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 5+ years of software testing experience with at least 3 years in automation testing
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright, JavaScript, Postman and Visual Studio Code (VS Code)
  • Experience with manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, sanity, and end-to-end testing
  • Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools
  • Experience using JIRA for defect tracking and test management
  • Good knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend verification
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum
  • Experience working with Git and CI/CD environments
