About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage and review accounting activities across multiple global entities, including intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and cross-border reporting requirements.
Review and approve journal entries, invoices, disbursements, payroll, and expense reimbursements.
Monitor workload distribution, review outputs, and provide feedback and direction to improve performance.
Ensure all financial transactions are accurate, complete, and compliant with accounting policies and standards.
Supervise reconciliations, including intercompany accounts, and ensure discrepancies are promptly addressed.
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities and ensure compliance with deadlines.
Coordinate with auditors and assist in audit preparation and follow-up.
Review and analyze the Balance Sheet and P&L statements to ensure accuracy and provide management insights.
Prepare ad hoc financial reports and assist in management reporting.
Identify areas for process improvement and automation across accounting workflows.
Assist in implementing new accounting procedures, tools, or systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Support process documentation and internal control strengthening initiatives.
Collaborate with the Accounting Manager to ensure alignment with strategic finance goals.

Requirements

What you’ll need

3–5 years of progressive accounting experience
Strong background in accounting operations, reporting, and internal controls.
Proficiency in accounting systems (QuickBooks, Sage, or equivalent) and advanced Excel skills.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Willing to work onsite in Eastwood, Quezon City.
