About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing clients within the Mexican market (mid-sized and enterprise companies).
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders (HR, L&D, leadership, and C-suite).
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to expand account value.
  • Lead strategic business reviews focused on performance, impact, and ROI.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client needs and aligning solutions to business goals.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales teams to drive account growth.
  • Support contract renewals and negotiate agreements.
  • Represent goFLUENT in client meetings, events, and networking opportunities in Mexico.
  • Travel within Mexico as needed to strengthen client relationships.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Account Management, B2B sales.
  • Proven experience managing and growing client accounts (retention + expansion).
  • Strong relationship-building skills across all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinking with a strong customer-centric approach.
  • Experience working with CRM tools and LinkedIn is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven mindset.
  • Minimum B2 level of English.
  • Fluency in Spanish (required for the Mexican market).
  • Experience in SaaS, e-learning, HR tech, or services is a plus.
